Why the food we eat doesn't look like food in the pictures?
In the world of food, this often means pointing out the subtle differences between the advertised images of the products and the actual reality.
looks yummy here but reality NOPE!
" Everyone knows that if something tends to look too good to be real it probably isn't. The delicious looking image on the web used to sell food never is true".
Food ads do a great job of seducing us, but the harsh reality is that, often, the food in person looks nothing like it does in pictures. In some sense, these food photographers are geniuses and magicians, wielding the powerful tools of professional lighting and Photoshop expertise. But for the customer, the discrepancy between food ads and reality can be a source of major culinary disappointment.
